Severe Weather Procedures

In case of inclement weather (tornado sirens going off and/or advised to seek shelter) during business hours.   

1. Lock the doors – you can also place a sign on the front door that we’re closed temporarily due to the weather.
2. Secure your workstations/vault.
3. Give customers in your branch the option to seek shelter in the secure area in your branch.
4. Proceed to the secure location within your branch (the basement, bathroom, etc)
5. Take your cell phone with you to stay up to date with current weather conditions.

Jesup-Basement, Coffee Closet, Vault, and Bathroom

Dunkerton-Basement or Bathroom.

Cedar Falls Main- Vault or Bathroom

Waterloo DT- Vault or Bathroom

Gilbertville-Bathroom, Vault, Basement

Tower Park – Bathrooms, Vault, Stairwells

Waverly– Vault, Bathrooms

Des Moines - Bathrooms
