Waverly has had a lot of changes the last few months!
Our Objectives:
Our team has been hard at work bringing in new deposits. With back-to-back CD specials, we've been busy with renewals and new customers alike! Our goal is to create meaningful conversations with these customers to show them all FSB has to offer! We've also been introducing ourselves to the community through volunteer efforts and community events. (Day of Caring, Waverly Homecoming Concessions, Wartburg Homecoming Parade, Salvation Army Bell-Ringing, Waverly Chamber of Commerce Events and MORE!) With a relatively new team, we are all in a season of learning as we work to hone our skills and better serve our customers.
Waverly welcomed 2 new full-time staff members in June 2023 -
Dorothy Back as Assistant Branch Manager came from Dupaco Community Credit Union with 11+ years of banking experience. She dove right into things, mastering MerdianLink and more recently taking credit card and loan applications.
Nathan Hill joins FSB as a CSR, he is brand new to banking, but learning quickly! Nathan recently attended CD and MeridianLink training and is taking as many new customers as he can!
Waverly Happenings & Celebrations:
Heidi Abben's triplets have started their junior year and are excitedly visiting colleges in preparation for their graduation!
Nathan Hill proposed to his now-fiancé - Holly in October! We look forward to celebrating their union sometime in the spring of 2025! Congratulations to Nathan and Holly!!

FSB Waverly recently got in on the Wartburg Festival of Trees! This year's theme is all about helping customers find their dream home - even if it's made of gingerbread!
